The Church and Fellowship

Lesson 7: The Church and Fellowship

Key Scriptures: Hebrews 10:24-25, Acts 2:42-47 1 Corinthians 16:2
Topics Covered:

  • The church is not just a place we go—it is the body of Christ, a living community where each believer is connected and has a purpose. Together, we reflect Christ to the world in ways we never could alone.
  • Fellowship is essential for our growth. In community, our faith is strengthened, our burdens are shared, and our lives are sharpened. God designed us to walk this journey side by side, not in isolation.
  • Each of us has been given spiritual gifts, not for ourselves, but to serve one another. When we use what God has placed in us, the whole body is built up. In that same community, we also find accountability to stay on the right path, encouragement when we grow weary, and protection from drifting away.
  • God also provides leadership and discipleship within the church to guide, teach, and nurture us in truth. Through faithful leaders and intentional relationships, we are equipped to grow deeper in our walk with Him.
  • Prayer:
  • Lord, thank You for the gift of the church. Help me to stay connected, to serve with what You’ve given me, and to grow through fellowship and guidance. Surround me with people who will encourage and strengthen my faith. Amen.
