Biblical Conflict Resolution<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

Scripture:<\/strong> “If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.”<\/em> \u2014 Romans 12:18 (KJV)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Conflict is an unavoidable part of life. Wherever people interact\u2014whether in families, churches, workplaces, or friendships\u2014differences and disagreements will arise. The issue is not whether conflict will come, but how we respond when it does. The world often encourages retaliation, bitterness, or avoidance. God’s Word points us to a better way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Lord desires reconciliation whenever possible. He reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ and calls His children to be peacemakers (Matthew 5:9). While reconciliation is not always possible because it requires the cooperation of both parties, believers are responsible for doing everything they can to pursue peace without compromising truth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Humility and forgiveness are essential to resolving conflict in a way that honors Christ. Humility allows us to examine our own hearts before pointing out the faults of others. Forgiveness frees us from the bondage of bitterness and reflects the grace that God has shown us through Christ. Just as God has forgiven us, we are to forgive one another.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
