The Power of the Holy Spirit
Lesson 24: The Power of the Holy Spirit
Key Scriptures: Acts 1:8, John 14:16-17, 2 Timothy 1:7
Teaching Points:
Empowered by the Spirit
“The Holy Spirit empowers believers to live boldly.”
The Christian life was never meant to be lived in fear or hesitation. God has given us His Holy Spirit to fill us with boldness—not in our own strength, but in His power. When we rely on the Spirit, we can stand firm in our faith, speak truth with confidence, and live in a way that reflects God’s presence in us.
“He gives strength, courage, and spiritual gifts.”
We don’t have to face life’s challenges alone or unequipped. The Holy Spirit strengthens us when we feel weak, gives us courage when we feel afraid, and equips us with spiritual gifts to serve others. These gifts are not for our own recognition, but to build up others and glorify God. What He places in you has purpose.
“We are not meant to live the Christian life alone.”
God designed us for connection—with Him and with others. The Holy Spirit is actually Jesus’ personal presence in the church. The Holy Spirit not only works within us but also unites us as believers. We are part of a greater community, called to encourage, support, and walk alongside one another. Isolation weakens, but connection strengthens.
Today, lean into the power of the Holy Spirit. Let Him guide you, strengthen you, and remind you that you are never alone.
Reflection:
Where do you need the Holy Spirit’s strength and boldness in your life today?
Prayer:
Holy Spirit, fill me with Your power. Give me strength when I am weak and courage when I am afraid. Help me to use the gifts You’ve given me to serve others, and remind me that I am never alone. Amen.
